CCGS Edward Cornwallis is a High Endurance Multi-Tasked Vessel Light Icebreaker and Buoy tender. She was built in 1986 by Marine Industries (Davie Shipbuilding) of Tracy, Quebec.[1]
Named after Lieutenant General Edward Cornwallis, British Army officer and founder of Halifax, Nova Scotia (home port of this ship as well).
